The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced important details for the Class 10 and 12 board exams scheduled to begin on February 15, 2025. Schools must complete the registration process for their candidates by submitting the list of students via the Pariksha Sangam link on the CBSE website (cbse.gov.in).
The deadline for the List of Candidates (LOC) submission is October 4, 2024. After this date, schools can still register students with a late fee of Rs 2,000 per candidate, with late registration available from October 5 to October 15, 2024.
Students are required to fill out their exam forms and register through the Pareeksha Sangam Portal before the LOC submission. Schools will use their ‘Affiliation Number’ as a user ID for the process. Additionally, existing schools must update their data on the OASIS and HPE portals before starting the LOC submission.
For the examination fees, Indian students will pay Rs 1,500 per candidate for up to five subjects, with Rs 300 for each additional subject. Students from Nepal will be charged Rs 5,000 for five subjects and Rs 1,000 for each additional subject. For candidates from other countries, the fee is Rs 10,000 for five subjects and Rs 2,000 for additional subjects. Practical exam fees are Rs 150 per subject in India and Nepal, and Rs 350 per subject for international schools.
CBSE will provide a separate submission link for private and second-chance compartment candidates. Schools must ensure timely submission to avoid any last-minute issues.
The board exams for Class 10 and 12 will commence on February 15, 2025, and all related processes should be completed well in advance to facilitate a smooth examination period.
