Rajinikanth’s upcoming film Vettaiyan just unveiled its first song, Manasilaayo, setting the stage for an exciting release. The song, released on Monday, brings out the superstar’s energy and style as he rules the dance floor. Fans are already drawing comparisons to his hit track Chumma Kizhi from Darbar, noting the celebratory feel of Manasilaayo.
The track, which features Rajinikanth’s character receiving a grand welcome, was inspired by a popular line from his previous film Jailer. The song uses AI to recreate the voice of the late singer Malaysia Vasudevan, with vocals by Yugendran Vasudevan, Anirudh Ravichander, and Deepthi Suresh. The lyrics were penned by Super Subu and Vishnu Edavan.
Directed by TJ Gnanavel, Vettaiyan is already creating buzz with its star-studded cast, including Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, and Manju Warrier. This film marks the much-awaited reunion of Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth after 33 years, making it a highly anticipated project.
The cast has wrapped up their dubbing, and the film is set to be released in multiple languages, including Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada. Music director Anirudh Ravichander teams up with Rajinikanth for the fourth time, following their successful collaborations on Petta, Darbar, and Jailer.
In addition to the powerhouse cast, the technical team includes SR Kathir as the cinematographer and Philomin Raj as the editor, ensuring a top-notch production.
The reunion of Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth, coupled with the energetic Manasilaayo song, has fans eagerly awaiting the film’s release. The chemistry between the two legends is expected to bring a nostalgic feel to the movie.
Vettaiyan is slated for release in theaters on October 10. With its stellar cast and crew, the film is poised to be a box-office hit across multiple languages.
As the buzz for Vettaiyan grows, fans are excited to see Rajinikanth back in action, and Manasilaayo has already set a high bar for the movie’s music and entertainment value.
