Delhi Schools Receive Bomb Threat EmailOver 20 Delhi schools receive bomb threat emails; police confirm no explosives found, investigation underway into repeated hoax messages.

New Delhi: More than 20 schools across Delhi received bomb threats via email on Friday, causing panic among students, parents, and teachers. This is the fourth time in one week that schools in the national capital have been targeted with similar threats. Police and emergency services quickly responded and launched search operations in all the affected schools.

What Did the Threat Email Say?

The emails were alarming and violent in tone. One email, sent to Richmond Global School, read:
“I have placed several explosive devices in the school classrooms. I will erase every last one of you from this world. Not a single soul will survive. I will gladly laugh when I see the news, as parents arrive only to find the dismembered bodies of their children.”

The message also talked about the sender’s anger at the mental health system and included threats of suicide. It stated:
“You all deserve to suffer. I hate my life. I will slit my throat and wrists after watching the news. No psychiatrist or psychologist ever helped me. You all only care about medicines, not people.”

Schools Affected

Some of the schools that received the bomb threat include:

  • St. Xavier’s School, Civil Lines
  • Richmond Global School, Paschim Vihar
  • Abhinav Public School, Rohini
  • The Sovereign School, Rohini

Officials said the exact number of schools affected is still being confirmed.

Police Action and Investigation

The Delhi Police, along with bomb disposal teams and fire services, reached all the schools immediately. Students and staff were safely evacuated. As of now, no explosives have been found, and all emails are being treated as hoaxes.

Despite no bombs being discovered, such repeated threats have created fear among families. This comes just days after similar emails were sent to nearly ten other schools and St. Stephen’s College in Delhi earlier this week.

Situation Under Control

Authorities are continuing search operations and investigating the source of these emails. Delhi Police said they are taking all necessary steps to keep students and schools safe. Schools have also been asked to stay alert and strengthen security.
