Delhi Metro Yellow Line Delays Due to Technical Glitch

New Delhi: Delhi Metro’s Yellow Line faced a technical fault on Friday between University and Central Secretariat stations. Trains running from Kashmiri Gate to Gurugram were delayed, causing large crowds at interchange stations like Hauz Khas and Kalkaji.

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) confirmed the fault on social media and said teams are working to restore services quickly.

Rush at Key Stations

Passengers at Kalkaji, Hauz Khas, and Kashmiri Gate faced long waits and crowded platforms due to delayed trains. The disruption affected daily commuters during peak hours.

DMRC Action

DMRC advised passengers to allow extra travel time and follow updates on official channels while the technical issue is being resolved.
