Bomb threat emails were reported at several schools in Delhi on Monday, resulting in the evacuation of students and staff. The schools affected included Delhi Public School (DPS) Dwarka, Modern Convent School, and ShreeRam World School in Sector 10, Dwarka.
Police, the Bomb Disposal Squad, and Cyber Crime teams were deployed to the schools, and searches of the premises were conducted. No explosives were found, and the situation was treated as a security concern by authorities.
Earlier bomb threats in Delhi had been identified as hoaxes. In July, Richmond Global School in Paschim Vihar, Modern International School in Dwarka Sector 19, and the Heritage School in Rohini, along with three Delhi University colleges—IP College for Women, Hindu College, and Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC)—had received similar threats.
Investigations are ongoing to trace the source of the emails, and security measures were increased in other educational institutions across Delhi.
