A major fire broke out on Thursday in Jwala Heri market in Paschim Vihar area, New Delhi. Many shops were affected by the fire before fire tenders could extinguish the fire.
At least 12 fire tenders reached the spot to put out the fire but managed to do so after goods worth lakhs were destroyed.
It took several hours for the fire tenders to douse the flame completely. No casualties have been reported from the spot.
